Madison Whaley is a graduate intern pursuing her Master of Science in Social Work with a concentration in Clinical Practice from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. She graduated from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville in 2023 with her Bachelor of Science in Social Work.
During her bachelor’s program, she was an intern at Vine School Health Center. Her experience there helped her realize her passion for mental health and working with children, teenagers, and young adults. She is interested in working with clients 10 and older who are struggling with depression, anxiety, and relationship or school issues. Her approach to treatment incorporates client-centered, cognitive-behavioral, and strengths-based frameworks to create a safe environment to fit the needs of each client. It is very important to her that each client feels heard, valued, and respected.
