Melanie Vance, MS, NCC

Melanie obtained her Masters in clinical mental health counseling from The University of Tennessee and is currently working toward full licensure (LPC-MHSP). She has worked with clients across the lifespan as they worked through experiences such as depression, anxiety, grief, trauma, and relationship conflicts. She also has spent time working in an intensive substance abuse recovery program for adult offenders.

Melanie’s primary treatment modalities are Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). She has training in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TFCBT) and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT). Melanie aims to work with the client to find the approach that works best for them. She hopes her clients leave counseling with further insight into their life and more confidence to handle life as it comes.
