Sami graduated with a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University and is pursuing her Licensed Professional Counselor, Mental Health Service Provider license in the state of Tennessee.

Sami has experience in treating anxiety, depression, grief, loss, stress, life changes, ADHD, personality disorder, and other presenting issues. She works with individuals (14+), but is looking to expand to work with younger children and couples. Sami has a passion for helping people by meeting them where they are and helping them get where they want to be. She believes in not doing life alone and wants to be a helping hand that walks with you on your journey of healing and growth.

Sami uses a holistic and client-centered approach to counseling, showing unconditional positive regard to all clients. Her approach is integrative, pulling from various modalities based on who the client is and their unique situation. This includes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution Focused Therapy and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT).

Sami is here to support clients on their journey towards healing and personal growth in a safe and nonjudgmental space. Through a collaborative and empathetic approach, Sami works with clients to explore thoughts and feelings, gain insight into behaviors, and find solutions to help move towards a more fulfilling and balanced life.
