Emma Allocco, LPC-MHSP, NCC

Emma received her Bachelor of Arts in Applied Psychology and her Master of Science degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Carson-Newman University. She is a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC) and is a Licensed Professional Counselor-Mental Health Service Provider in the state of Tennessee.

Emma has worked with clients of all ages in individual, family, and group counseling settings, but has spent much of her career working with adults in inpatient and outpatient settings. Emma has experience assisting individuals with substance abuse disorders, anxiety, depression, mood disorders, anger, academic issues, low self-esteem, ADHD, personality disorders, behavioral issues, and trauma.

Emma uses an integrative approach to counseling, using a variety of therapeutic approaches such as gestalt therapy, trauma-informed CBT, mindfulness, solution-focused, dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), reality therapy, play therapy, narrative therapy, and other evidence-based practices to provide an individualized treatment approach that is unique to each of her clients.

Emma is passionate about helping others develop into the best versions of themselves, find effective ways to manage and reduce symptoms they’re experiencing, and rise from the ashes of trauma and adverse life experiences.
