John is a licensed counselor with over 15 years of experience in the field of mental health.  He has worked in long term adolescent residential, short term psychiatric hospital, outpatient case management and therapy, intensive in home counseling and mobile crisis.  He has been counseling at LCC since 2019.  John’s focus is on working with children, adolescent and teenage males.  Issues include defiant behavior, depression and anxiety among others.

Treatment Approach

John works from a solution focused perspective and uses cognitive behavioral techniques (CBT) to achieve behavior modification.  He has experience working with Oppositional Defiance, Conduct Disorder, Depression, Anxiety, suicidal thoughts, addiction and more.
