Social skills groups are small groups led by a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) who follows evidence-based social skills curriculums to teach children to interact appropriately with peers their age. Social Skills groups help individuals learn conversational, friendship, and problem-solving skills. They can also be useful in teaching children to control their emotions and understand others’ perspectives.

Some topics covered in our social skills groups include:

*Personal Space *Self-Advocacy *Cultural Sensitivity *Taking Turns

*Tolerating Changes and more!

The RBT uses a variety of techniques derived from the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis and integrates all lessons with teaching styles appropriate for each age group.
