Derick Daniels
Derick is a graduate clinician pursuing a master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Liberty University. He graduated with a bachelor’s in Psychology and a minor in Applied Behavior Analysis from Troy University in 2020. He has a strong passion for counseling and works with individuals (16+), couples, families, and groups.
Derick believes in a holistic approach to counseling while integrating cognitive behavioral therapy, person centered therapy and other counseling techniques to support clients and cater to their specific needs. He works with individuals through many types of life struggles including depression, anxiety, grief, and phase of life issues. Derick’s clinical focus is on working with adults with an Autism diagnosis and those coping with anxiety.
Derick believes that all people deserve to live their truth and feel safe, comfortable, and welcomed by the therapeutic relationship and environment. He provides support for LGBTQ individuals and strives to be culturally sensitive to all populations. Derick hopes to help clients realize their strengths, conquer their fears, recognize their weaknesses, and reach their goals.
