Lauren Shockley, MS
Hello! I am a Master’s level counselor working towards full licensure as a professional counselor. I primarily work with adults and have extensive experience addressing concerns around anxiety, depression, self-acceptance, emotion regulation, chronic illness, relationship issues, and navigating life transitions.
Every individual is unique, and thus my therapeutic style varies from person to person. My approach is rooted in the theories behind cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, and mindfulness, among others. I strive to create a safe and supportive space where you feel comfortable exploring your inner world. It is my hope that through developing a strong and collaborative relationship, we can work toward creating change that is meaningful for you. I look forward to meeting and connecting with you!
