Hello! My name is Katie Corbin and I am a second-year counseling student at The University of Tennessee Knoxville. I am currently pursuing my master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling to become a Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Tennessee. Prior to UTK, I graduated from Auburn University in 2020 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and a Bachelor of Science in Human Development and Family Studies.

Since then, I have worked in a variety of fields. I see clients as the experts of their own stories. I believe that finding what helps clients thrive can deepen their understanding of the world. I prioritize developing a strong therapeutic relationship with clients and welcome collaboration with clients to find what will be a good fit for them.

I have worked with preschoolers, parents, and college students for the past five years and especially seek to provide an understanding space for people to explore their authentic selves and goals. I see many issues people face in the context of social and cultural environments as I empower clients to navigate those systems.
